I tried that Diognostic thing, I have the floppy in the drive, it boots up, but it goes right to that screen i was talking about and shuts down when i press something.

you maybe have a bad stick of ram. try removing them one at a time and see if it works then. I had a pc do this before, and it was a ram stick that was shot. Just though I would throw a suggestion out there. hope you get it fixed.
