    That would be useful when I become an electrician and start having to drive to places for housecalls.

    Dunno what it's calle din canada (GPS?). How much are they?

    To put it mildly, they're nifty gadgets.

    I have Tomtom 500 on my Pocket PC. Not only does give you the quickest route (basically, it takes you up the motorways), it can also give you the shortest route (distance).

    I have TomTom 5 on my PDA as well. Abso-fucking-lutely brilliant thing.

    I have noticed that the fastest route setting seems to give the shortest distance using only motorways and 'A' roads, whereas the shortest route setting takes you through a maze of side streets.
