I haven't and certainly won't until it reaches at least beta.

Running an Alpha OS, even just for a sneak peak, isn't a good idea.

Those who plan on doing a test run, do it on a separate partition or drive. I do not recommend installing over your current OS.....bad idea!

    SUX because of the BUGS

but when fully functional, well you remember the difference between XP and Win'ME...

What is Longhorn? I thought it was cheese. Is it another OS?

Just wait. When Microsoft comes out with their new SPYWARE Windows OS, A lot of people are going to try (or atleast test run) another operating system.

Im sure there already is an xp lite of sorts.

I read somewhere how to run a bare bones xp and they have reverse enginered the kernel to make it more lightweight.

Sounds pretty sweet but i have not tried it yet.

    Sorry cant find the link

I had 4008 for a while, then I upgraded to the latest v.4015. I like it... but it'll suck your system dry for resources.

Does ANYONE know a way around the authorization? The method from 4008 doesn't seem to work anymore, and I'm looking at t-minus 10 days and counting until my 15 day limit is up....

Mmm, yeah. I don' t think I have a Beta Server 2003 key / id laying around anywhere. I even checked under the couch. Where might one find one of those?
