Thread: need help please

    i have a 160 gig hard drive i want to make a perfect clone onto a 40 gig hard drive that will boot up and work exactly the same. what program will do this for me the best. thanks for any help

    Partition Magic?

    Always assuming you haven't got more than 40GB on the partition, of course.

    partition magic is a great tool for those kind of jobs... easy to use and powerful...

    my biggest problem is the drive i want to clone is divided into 3 partitions the c:\ is 48gig and the drive i want to clone it to is a 40gig.

    Uh remove the partitions. Make 1 big partition then clone it. Then repartition.

    wow never tried such thing! Sounds risky.

    You better make sure your data is backed up first!
