as to the topic question, I use a handful of sites; essentially one site for every specific type. oink for music, empornium for porn (though fileporn might win me over soon), bitme for educational material, learbits for an excellent ratio (it's just so easy!), and i'm currently teetering between pisexy and x264 for movies. demonoid covers all loose ends. myspleen would usually be on this list but they seem to be having difficulties D:

really, what's the point of using 20+ sites? don't even say "just in case my usual sites don't have the shit LoL" either because if you picked good main sites in the first place, that wouldn't be a problem. not to mention there's the request feature. every time I want an album not on oink, I simply request it and the request (so far) has consistently been filled within hours.
