Prey (Demo) Released!

Prey demo has been release. i've beaten the demo portion and have only tried the multiplayer. the sp demo is fucking GREAT! lol, GREAT! it uses the Doom3 engine and the game played flawlessly on my pc. the mp part i've just touched barely. sp maps are kinda closed like doom3 was, but this one somehow gives u a little more space. also, u can see lots better too. the mp is kinda cramped. i'll play it some more, but it just doesn't seem to good right now. the weapons in sp are just fun. there is no reload in this game. this one's pretty much a shoot'em up type. i kinda dig that, but i still find myself wanting to reload. bad habits die hard... the demo is 450mb in length and sp will take about 60 mins to beat; give or take. this demo gives u the first 5 levels of the game and 2 TDM/DM mp levels for ur online pleasure. just plain fun if u like FPS's!!!

This demo is amazing. If you have a fast PC it will look and play very well. I have a 7900GT, A64 overclocked to 2.9 GHz and it played flawless

i thought this was a very intresting and enjoyable game.
looks the part and plays well.
Also it has G15 Keyboard support by default **very nice**

I'm not really sure what was so good about this. The graphics were nice, but other than that I found it kind of boring, and very similar to Quake 4.

I only got the one gun (which was almost identical to the machine gun in Q4) in the demo before I switched it off. Did you get anything else interesting?

I didn't try the multiplayer, but I'm not very impressed so far.

edit: I realise I'm in the minority here - all over the web I see people saying how good it is, but I can't see the appeal.
