Is This Safe If I Put My Backups On Partion D?

Im gonna reinstall my computer andI have 2 partions,1 (C and 1 (D
The (D contains information which needs to be able to reinstall my computer and I have 2 GB of music and movies which I share so can I put it it on the (D one and then reinstall my computer as usual?

as long as you install windows back onto the c partition, this sounds like it'll be ok
the d partition shouldn't be touched at all

So can I make a folder in the (D partion which I names "My shared folder" and then reinstall it.

yeah, you should be able to
as a word of warning though, i always make backups of my stuff
don't take my advice as the law, and if it doesn't work out well, don't kill me please
