    Finally!!! I have just successfully downgraded my v2.5 PSP down to v1.5.

    Now I just have to buy a new analog stick, as the spring in mine is messed up.

    if the spring in yours is broken, your going to have to open it to fix the analog socket...replacing the stick wont help

    It's actually pretty easy to put in. I tried last night to make sure I could do it.

    Plus, I have a Japanese PSP, so I don't have to worry about losing my warranty.
