This is my first time using eMule, so bear with me.

I just finished downloading something, but it's still in the "Downloads" category. Should it move to the uploads category automatically, or do I have to move it manually? Thanks in advance.

Your download will become an upload when someone wants to download that file from you. And, because emule is so cool, you can upload that file while you are downloading it. And if you want to remove it from your download list, theres an option that automatically clears your downloads (Options => Display => Auto Clear Completed Downloads). Your file will not be deleted (It should be in the Incomming directory).
    blah blah blah... whatever...

Just right click downloaded file and clear completed.
You can find the file in incomming folder.
