I wish I was in London, walkin' in the rain
I wish I was in London, ooh I really miss the rain
Oh, just take me home again

I wish I was in England, I really miss the Queen
I wish I was in England, ooh I really miss the Queen
Oh, just take me home again

What happened to the Empire? There's nothing in the Bank
They gave away the Empire, without a word of thanks
Oh just blame it on the Yanks

So give me rule Brittania, Brittania rules the waves
I live in California, but it's really not the same
Oh, so take me home again

Oh, please take me home again
Oh, so take me home again...

Vosper Thorneycroft LTD, has offered plans to the British Navy

"Sea Wraith" will utilize a radar absorbing composite superstructure and deflecting angled design to achieve stealth. High speed electric motors will make it very quiet.
Sea Wraith will take stealth a step further, using artificially generated mist to disguise it as a patch of fog. This cloud of mist would visually mask the ship. At the same time, it would prevent infrared sensors from detecting "hot" spots created by the ship's powerplant or recently fired weapons.
The idiosyncratic syntax of riddles interests me

Yes they do, only this time its all the waves they get as they sail back over the waves to Britain; after losing nearly all "their" colonies..

As you get bigger, it gets harder to hold on to it all.

We, as an empire, have deteriated into some little island in the middle of the world who drink tea and act all high and mighty. We have turned into a joke.

I, myself, am ashamed with what we've become. We've become America in the 80's. 70% of children are now obese, we have a McDonalds in every town, and we have a government who seems to think we need ID cards more than hospital beds.

Back in the day, we were ruthless, and smart, and cunning, and, at times, downright evil. But at least we were proud of it. And we made our place in the new world. Nowadays, ppl are emigrating left right and centre, just to get away from this country/island. On every street corner is a group of 15 year old spotty ignorant kids, guzzling down cider and berrating anyone who walks past. With their babies/pregnant gfs. You go into a supermarket and see a fat person with pork pies and LIGHT mayonnaise. Cause it balances out you see. You go into town, and there are shops specialising in clothes for overweight ppl. And some can't even fit into the biggest sizes. Plastic surgey is now rife, even my next-door neighbour has had her nose and boobs done.

The UK. Britain. The Nation Which Ruled the Waves. Dwindling.
