The damn places are addictive.
All the waterslides, floating currents, and such.
They are much better than theme parks for the fun factor.

yo
I've never been to one, I bet it's great.
We did have a big Tube Slide in our local swim pool until it collapsed one day.
@ 100%, feck, that's well cool
The idiosyncratic syntax of riddles interests me
rollercoasters>waterslides though.
as usual, americans are wrong about things
when I was a kid, they used to scare me, never went since
That's not a waterpark. It's a glorified beach swimming pool.Originally Posted by 100%

Yeah I just spent a spent week in Williamsburg, Virginia. I went to Busch Gardens Europe (4th of July fireworks) and Water Country USA and just loved Water Country more than Busch Gardens.Originally Posted by peat moss
Williamsburg is about 3 hrs. away. I also have Six Flags America about 20 minutes away and it has a waterpark (Hurricane Harbor) within it. There's also a waterpark that many folk don't really know about called Cameron Run in Virginia which is even closer. It's a frigging regional park at that and I've always passed the signs and kept going.
Wave pool
3 Slides
Kid Slide and Play Area
The last time I went to a waterpark, it was at Six Flags back when it was Wild World and I only remember being in the wave pool. It since changed owners to Adventure World and now Six Flags America.
