    They would stll take a dim view of it but I think it would just be jail followed by a dis-honourable discharge.

    I believe they never actually revoked the flogging rules but they don't do that anymore either (well only for fun by all accounts ) I am sure I read somewhere that hanging is still on the statutes for eating one of the Queen's swans.
