    What are good out of these?:
    Sapphire Radeon X1600XT 256MB DDR3
    Powercolor Radeon X800GTO 256M DDR3
    Powercolor Radeon X1600XT Bravo
    Powercolor Radeon X1600PRO 512MB
    POV Nvidia 7600GS-512Mb PCI-E
    MSI GeForce 6600GT 128MB PCI-E SLI

    (or any within a £100-150 budget?)

    Radeon X800GTO 256M DDR3

    Look at the GTO2..thats a decient little card. I believe it out performs some of the 1600 series.

    I'd strongly advise the 7000 or x1000 series, because you'll cry when you find out you can't run half of the games with HDR because the x800 doesn't support SM3.0. I'd rather go for a x1600 or 7600, their performance more or less equal to a x800gto, but they do support sm3.0 and HDR. Heck, grab a 7600gt and you'll blaze your way through game settings for now and probably till next year.

    can run ghost recon at max everything apart from textures on medium (dunno y i cant get it on high) and i get 20+fps very playable

    I want to buy a graphics card hat will allow me to play FEAR on max settings and for future games such as the new unreal touranment and far cry

    All depends on the rest of your system. With these cards I doubt you will get high settings on those next gen games like UT07 and ET:QW

    Make sure u have a sufficiant powersupply to run high end cards.
