which software is best to convert avi/mpg to vcd/svcd? also easy to use thankss!!!

Give Avi2Dvd a try, its freeware and has settings for vcd/svcd instead of dvd. I have never used it for vcd but for dvd it does a good job albiet finicky. It has many features hard to find in the one click wonders like pal to ntsc and support for 5.1 surround audio.
