and whats with the f*cking baggy oants dog collars they where??? caps on backterfront??? man that so cool and there always thanking go if they win a grammy or whatever!! whats with that??
What have clothes got to do with it??
Don't Rock fans dress a certain way?? They do where I live. The "fabbies" ( our name for them
) wear insanely baggy jeans, wooly hats, hoodies, baseball caps, skateboard type trainers, bandanas, etc. They are undeniably influenced by Hip-Hop culture because they dress almost exactly the same as the Hip-Hop kids. There has been a direct correlation between youth culture/music/fashion for nearly 60 years!! If you saw me in the street you wouldn't guess I was a BIG Hip-Hop fan. Would you judge me by my clothes or my music? Does it matter??
By the way, wearing your jeans/whatever "low down" came about because if, when you were growing up, your parents couldn't afford to get you new clothes you'd have to pull your jeans down so that they weren't at "half-mast"!! Then wear a baggy T-Shirt to cover your belt/arse.
If in an awards ceremony an artist "thanks God" then that's up to them. Freedom of speech and beliefs and all that. If an artist was a Muslim and thanked Allah would you criticise them for that, Adthomp?? Why don't you just join the fucking Nazi party and then, one day, maybe you could make everyone do what you want, wear what you want, listen to what you want and think what you want???
You are, AGAIN, being deliberately inciteful Adthomp, what's the deal?? Are you trying to impress with your knowledge of musical terminology?? Or your horrendous spelling??

I respect both Rock and Rap, but i think these terms cover too wide a musical spectrum to be judged or pitted against each other. Rock has borrowed from Rap influences over the years and vice-versa. We know have Rap-Rock crossover bands, which just shows that the music we listen to is changing and growing all the time, which can only be a good thing.
Felt i had to add my tuppence
