I need to know how you email a cover letter and resume to a company.

Do I just copy and paste them as the message body, do I attach it? How do I save....dic or .txt or what?

Standard companies prefer and are accustomed to .doc attachment

if its grfx companies do not send anything in windows format
why not put your cv on a web page? (for future reference)

Electrical company, probably small, so I'm assuming windows will be right.

The website idea is a good idea but what if it goes down or something (the only hosting I have is closing in 4 days, and I don't trust fst servers ).

Most usually, people have their own CV stated at their website. I am planning on doing so later.
