It seems comcast is offering 16megs dl speed, but yet it only offer 1meg upload which i think sucks... i really which verizon's fiber connection were introduced to my area 15/2mbps upload..

16mb is fucking badass. Do you have basic Comcast (4meg) or do you upgrade it to get those speeds? I've got basic and I don't notice a diff unless they haven't changed it here yet.

yeah i got the comcast where its 6mb i think thats the basic, they upgraded it a half a year ago...but will it be upgraded for free?

Mine is about 8 now.
When FIOS (Verizon) comes to my area I'll get that.
That'll be my internet at 15Mps and TV. I'm going to keep my dialtone on copper. If it's on fiber and the power goes out I'll have dialtone from battery backup for about an hour. Fuck that.

Comcast Basic in my area is 6mbps down/768kbps up. My router right now only supports up to 11mbps of speed, i'll need to get a new one sooner or later..Originally Posted by Gam3Guy
