if avipreview dont work try virtualdub or just windows media player these work for me!

No just copy it to your desktop and open it there, i dont even pause the dl. you can also use divfix to repair the file

What are you talking about? You can't copy a .dat file to your desktop while downloading? You certainly can't open it with WMP. Are we on the same page here?

1) It's not possible to tamper (ex. copy, move, rename) a file while a program is using it.
2) Is that smilie supposed to threaten people?

Try it just start a dl then open shared folder right click, drag onto desktop click copy here.

I have copied files that were downloading from bittorrent, and moved them... only seems to work if u copy first
