I recently bought a Vsonic 2038MX DVD player and the tray won't open anymore after watching a PAL DVD! The DVD is still stuck inside, what should I do to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Did you try restarting your computer?
Unplug the cable and plug in back, if its a DIVX player. If something like this happens on computer right click on dvd in my computer and select eject.
IF it's a computer, shut it down then insert a pin or paper clip into the little whole on the front of the drive, usuallly below the tray somewhere. This will open the tray.
I have a Xoro DIVX player and i know some ppl who have Yamada DIVX players
U use em to watch all kinds of movies on your tv..etc, u can upgate em like a computer.

A DIVX player is used to open files that u can than see on tv screen, like u open files on computer. When u burn a cd/dvd that has avi, mpg, mpeg..etc on it, u can browse it on tv, just like u do on computer monitor. U can upgate it with many things, u can use subtitles on it.
Hey thanks everyone for the reply so far. Sorry I wasn't clear on my problem, but the DVD player is a standalone player for the TV, not computer. It's a multi-region player that can convert PAL DVDs to NTSC on a NTSC TV, this is the main reason why I bought it and it can also play MPEG4s (DivX, Xvid), SVCDs, etc. which is a plus. I am going to bring it back to the store I bought it from tomorrow, hope they can fix it.
Did you try unplugging it for a bit and plugging it back in?
good luck, that's a really wierd problem.
