Well it looks like your looking for a version earlier then 1.3...Good luck it seems very hard to find (microsoft forced removal of wmw support)

Support for WMV was removed in some earlier version, that is not available on their site or it is but without this, because of microsoft rights. If u could know what version it was ?

Well, as accat13 said, it should be a version prior to 1.3.
So 1.2 should be it
Haven't tried avisynth on wmv's before so I shall give that a go.
Tried it with mp4's but it still wouldn't let me open it in Virtualdub so I never looked back.
