First, look around and see what there is to see.

Decide whether you can live with what is now, or may soon be, a belly-button choice...by that I mean everybody's got 'em.

Sometimes thats okay, depending on you and/or your vehicle.

If you live in a metro area, pretty much everything is available, so you might just look on the 'net to get some ideas, then let whatever ideas develop simmer for a while.

If you can withstand the itch for a short time, you'll be more satisfied with your ultimate choice

Check out this site. It will give you a list of rims you can get for your model of truck.

    Get some ideas. http://www.thewheelconnection.com/

Personally, I wouldn't go about buying rims for a truck. But I don't pimp my ride.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

Weld wheels and American Racing generally are considered pretty good.

some exeptions (getting stronger wheels for load carrying or getting beadlocks) but mostly the only point is as dick extentions

Sounds like a perfectly valid reason to me.
