Startup For Cpaq "bad"

Did the qwik restore for 98 windows start to boot almost to the finish, then what, damn blue screen of death,

So it tells me I have a protection error,

also when booting, dos says D:\file not found.

Even tried it 4 times, cmfao. so I tried Xp to startup, some strange error.

Lost, I even fdisked 3 times, dunno.

compaq presrio 5710 with a k6 i thing not sure.

Don't know for sure.

Those "restore" disks just plain suck.

I've got a Presario 7470.

I borrowed a full version of Win98SE from a friend, fdisk'd and did a clean install. No problems since.(3 years ago)

spent 20hrs, boot, boot, blue, boot, aaallmoost, blue, pissssssssss, on it,.

clean install, cool.

tried xp, no go, must be too uncompatible, mabee me or 20000?

Yea, XP may be to much for your processor and/or memory.
