Change file size

Hi there,

My name is Kathy and im new to this forum.

I was hoping if you could help me. im just a girl who doesnt knwo much about technical things on computers.

I have a video file, which is currently 190MB and in .wmp format, and i want to download it into photobucket so we friends can view it. Photobucket say it has to be less then 100MB...but i am unsure of how to do this.

ive downloaded Microsoft movie maker, but without success

Can anyone give me simple instructions on how to make this file say 98MB? Im not all that worried about the quality of it....

You need to shrink or compress it , using software like dvd shrink or the like .It will convert it to say a MPEG4 format so easy .

And yes, it can be difficult at first. There are different methods/software to achieve your goal.

The bottom line is, it's difficult to easily describe how to do this in a short space. Researching the already-available tutorials at sites such as the one posted above is truly the best thing to do.

Ain't nothing wrong with a little learning is there?
