Well what about porn?? do u know that the girls that apear on so many filmes only get pay like$500.00 a movie?. Now the price of the average dvd is $15.00/$20.00
So the money isn't relly going to the star or artist, They only get paid once, But the company keep making money out of their asses.

its true what blur says. also its the label who makes all the money from selling cd's. The musicians make their bucks from koncerts touring and all that crap !

Before Music and Filmmaking became an Industrie
artists had a real say about the artistic content.

Now marketexperts are dictating issues like Image ,content and timing of 'new'
material .
For all I care the industry had this bashing coming and there is more on their way.

Besides Bands do not make that much off of record sales all "their" money comes from tours.
