Duties are not performed for duty's sake, but because their neglect would make the man uncomfortable. A man performs but one duty - the duty of contenting his spirit, the duty of making himself agreeable to himself.

Are you trying to install this onto an HP, Dell, Compaq?? If so, sometimes their hardware and the drivers that come with it are only designed to work with the OS that they provided. I have an HP and tried installing PRO from the HOME version and my monitor was all messed up too. I didn't even want to begin to think what other drivers would be messed up. I'm sure that you can somehow find the appropriate driver somewhere on the net to make it work... but in my case, sticking with the HOME version was just a simpler and smarter idea.

    Edited: for memory loss

reset your CMOS either with the jumper setting or remove the batery and short the contacts on the board for 5 seconds. then try it again.
How do i do the above quote?

what do u mean by shorting?
    Quoted from Hardwareworld.

Shorting means connect the two pins together. Closing the circuit.
