Thread: Up And Running!

  1. #1
This may have been asked before, but how long do you/can you leave a pc running untill you should shut it
    down/rest it?
I keep mine on from 12 noon to 6 am the next morning, thats a 6hr rest period
Maybe a mod could make this a poll?

I know someone who hasnt switched their computer off for a year lol.
I usually keep mine running for 3 days average, before restarting again and doing it all over again.

I restart it about every 2 weeks.
I turn it off evey 5-6 weeks (for a couple of hours) depending on what I'm downloading.

Put your computer in Hibernation mode, that way, it barely generates any electricity.

Also, if you have CRT, just turn the monitor off, they can get really hot!
