use DVDShrink or Alcahol 120%(im not sure about Alcahol) but dvdshrink will get the job done
hmm,
just use "DVD Decrypter" or "DVD Fab Decrypter" to remove the protection (both freeware)
then "DVD Shrink" to compress it to a burnable DVD (again freeware)
then something like "Nero" to burn.

hey u wanna copy 1:1 or dvd 9 ot dvd5 or dvd9 to 2 dvd5 , just use Arc DvD copy (google it), i use it n its realy fast and the best i think n easy to use, u can also use if u r able to find DVD Decrypter its also best and is detailed wil copy 1:1, but with arc u got options de-selecting subtitles, language files ,
AnyDVD for removal of copy protection and ripping.
DVD Decrypter can also be used for ripping.
DVD Shrink to remove unwanted parts and for compressing to fit onto DVD±R.
DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn for burning.
why do you guys use additional programs? I just use dvdshrink to create an ISO and burn with nero. What is the benefit of using DVD Decrypter first?
It's better to copy the DVD to your HD first. Most people use DVD Decrypter to do this.
I use DVDRemakePro to remove the extra's and edit the menu, then I use DVD Rebuilder + CCE to encode DVD9 to DVD5. This gives you much better quality then all the other rip programs like DVD Shrink, DVD2ONE etc..
Don't forget to remove non-english audio streams, most 5.1 streams are +400MB.

oh I see. I do rip them to my HD first using dvdshrink. I never noticed any loss of quality, but maybe I'll look into these other programs to test them out.
