Thread: Deleting files directly without putting in thrashcan first

    - go to properties of recycle bin and select 0% of maximum size of recycle bin or select: do not move file to recycle bin. remove files immediately when deleted
    - open new task (run) after it crashed and delete it with a command

    You could also disable thumbnails cause thats maybe why it crashed

    Yes, it deletes single files, and NO, you are NOT required to right-click the file/folder. Just drag it into the 'Browse' box. Done. Problem solved.

    If this happens again. An easy way to delete them is to open nero or notepad ect... anything that you can view inside the folder with. Press delete from within the view window. Works 100% all the time.

    That has already happened to me 2 or 3 times. What i do? return to oldschool
    I boot from win98 cd into MS-Disk Operating System and delete it. Works 100%!
    You know, windows is the problem

    Nah, that's what I tried too but it even then it just crashed.

    It was the software I used for the conversion that caused the crash because after uninstalling it everything was back to normal.
