Thread: what does on queue* mean

    Hi,

    notmally Emule v0.47a says ''on queue'' but what does ''on queue*'' mean?

    just curious

    I think it means that you are on the waiting list to get a slot from that user.

    Yeah usually it'll say On Queue which means on the waiting list. Sometimes it even has a number associated with it, saying which number you are.

    Thank you all for replying, but I know what ''on queue'' means but I wondrred what '' * '' in ''on queue*'' means, sometimes I see it when still have QR 454 sometimes when QR 5 , mostly I do not see the *

    I didn'T saw that symbole when queued .. Can you see a any difference with others queues ? :\

    Nope, it all looks the same

    I can download from all users but I find this very frustrating:
    some users have the * behind QR:xxx and some don't have the * and I do not have a clue why.

    Emule is different from BT. For BT, uploaders upload and distribute large amount of data to the users who have faster upload speed first. however, for emule, if you want to receive data from uploaders, you have to wait unitl the uploads complete uploading data to the users who connect to them eariler then you do.

    I do not know if I am right. It is my personal experience.
