Looking for names of as many role playing games for the PC as I can find.
Have been playing console games since the late 80's and have only moved on to play games on the PC in '03 when I was finally able to afford a good gaming system. So I have no clue about any RPG's released prior to 2003, and a semi okay grasp thereafter.
Any help will be appreciated

prolly a good place to start.
i'm just pasting their list. click the link for details of why they think the games qualify for their top 10. some of these games had console conversions, but those were often quite different from the PC versions so it might pay to even check out some of the ones you've already played on consoles. for instance i've heard that the PC and console versions of baldur's gate are very different from each other, as far as the features & focus of the gameplay.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"
