over other scene trackers?
see, on a site like tl, i nearly always max out my download speed, and the pre times are fairly decent, i mean, i don't need something as soon as it's released, as i'm usually at work or something when it is released.
sorry if i'm sounding like a n00b.

Torrentleech is the best general tracker IMO, fastest speeds and usually quick releases. Unless you are looking for anything specific such as. music or TV shows I recommend you stay with Torrentleech. I too use to wonder like you' what the fuck is so good about U*** or Torrentbytes etc..The answer is plain and simple...NOTHING! The reason why people want them so much is because they are hard to get into.

A 'good' private site is just one that is hard to get in. Templateshare was a "good" private site, until everyone got invites (since they gave 3 upon registration...). If ScT gave 4 invites per week to all power users, it would be desired the same amount as TL.
However, that said, ScT is an incredibly fast tracker, and keeping a good ratio on it is very hard - since there's like 5 peers, each with 3mb/s up. (oh and great pretimes) However if you can wait 1-4 hours, max, for new releases, just use TL - Speeds on new releases are pretty good, cuz of many peers.

Plain and simple:
ScT and *T* have the best pre's period (at least for games that's what i'm interested) but...(there's always a but) by being so fast, ScT turns to be one of the hardest sites to keep ratio above 1! and i say 1...if you have a slow connection (upload that is) like 40KB/s or even 100KB/s it's better to think twice
So, my conclusion is *T* is the best because it's as fast as ScT and you can use the freebies to keep up your ratio.
I find Dem to be the best I've tried so far.
A lot of real good new and older films.TL has nothing over Dem. Ok, well mabe the boxsets. Other then that, I can't really see where TL has the upper hand over Dem.
Also, Dem let's you search anything specifically by genre. Whether that be in movies, apps or books, it's a great feature I find.
TL, RevTT and ST lack this feature. It makes things much easier to find.
