With most locks a good pair of cutting pliers or bolt cutters will cut through like butter.

They wouldn't be much use then, I've never managed to cut anything using butter

Try asking a locksmith to look up the combo off the serial number if you can prove it's your lock. I've done this with old masterlock combo locks that I didn't know the combo for, but with those, I could bring them into the locksmith shop. If nothing else, start at 000 and brute force it. I've opened 3 cilindar breafcase locks this way before in half an hour, and the combo was one of the higher possable combos like 943 or something. with a lower combo, or if you remember part of the combo, you might get away with 5min.
Otherwise, get your hands on one of these:
    42" bolt cutters
    Or
A special lock picking tool for opening combo locks
Plan for the worst, hope for the best

    To be mental

"Mentalist" is used as a derogatory term for someone who is "mental" or insane.

It was first featured in an episode of Steve Coogan's, I'm Alan Partridge. An extra layer of irony was added to the term when it was used repeatedly in the UK BBC hit The Office, parodying the tendency in office environments for workers to parrot popular comedy sketches and catchphrases.

This definition of the word "Mentalist" is now recognised in the Oxford English Dictionary.
