Thread: .SWF File open

  1. #1
Just installed Adobe Flash Player version 9.0 as I thought it would open an .SWF file that I made with Snagit. When I try to open it, it says the file is not associated with a program. When I try to associate it in Windows Explorer, I can not find Flash Player. The Adobe website confirms I have version 9.0 installed, so I am stumped now.
    Any ideas please?

You have to download a stand-alone flash-playing program, like Macromedia Flash Player.

Media Player Classic can play .swf too. Or even a better one: FastStone Flash Player.
