Hi
This is my first post here :p
Seagate recently bought maxtor and now all maxtor HDDs are actually seagate so you don't need to worry.
If you have the option, take a look at WesternDigital drives too. IMHO they are much better..

Western Digital HDD's rock. I have the WD Raptor 10,000 rpm and love it but the 7200 rpm are good also and are MUCH cheaper.

320GB Seagate SATA HDD's can be had for around $90. I own 6 of them, and haven't had any problems. I have used Seagate for years. I have heard a lot of people getting bad drives from them lately, but they are all covered by a 5 year warranty.

I think ST3320620A is the model of the drives I am using now. They are nice and quite but tend to run a little warm.

I just bought 4 500GB WD SATA drives for $175 a piece. Lots of storage for a little price. If you're looking for speed then I would get the Raptor.
