Hey everyone! I need some opinions. I am new to the world of videocards. I currently own an 128MB ATI x300 PCI Express x16. I am in dire need of a performance increase, but I dont want to spend more than 200$. Perferably I would like to spend less than 150$ but I dont want to get a junk card. I think my motherboard only had 1 PCI x16 slot so 512 is out of the question, unless there is a card that is 512 that only takes up one slot. I want to get at least 256mb Ram on the card. So thats it, lets hear it. :]

Oh and if it helps I have a P4 3Ghz, 1.5 Gb Ram, and Windows XP Professional.

Wait just a few more months.

    You'll save ~$100.

It'll be worth the wait, grab a high-end dx9 card at a discount price once dx10 and vista comes out.

Do you own this card? It looks pretty good, ratings are good. I would get it if I had some more input. If it isnt that much of an performance increase from my x300, then I dont see the point. My x300 runs actually very well. I can run all hl2 source games on high settings with 4x aliasing, (DOD is giving me some problems) Wow runs 100% with a great framerate at full graphics, etc. I have yet to try Oblivion with my new 1.5 gigs of ram, and mabye I should try FEAR as well.
