Entertainment Weekly ranked Atticus Finch in the top 20 "All-Time Coolest Heroes in Pop Culture".But then how could you have a name like Atticus Finch and not be cool.

An attic doesn't sound cool to me. But then again I don't do a lot of english speaking on a daily basis.

I can agree, though. Even his glasses were cool.

I'm back. The downside is that I'm also old now.

    A well-chosen name goes a lone way in defining a character .
Even if you had never seen Raiders of the Lost Ark the moniker Indiana Jones brings up a certain image in your head.
Same with Tyler Durden or James Tiberius Kirk.

True that. Btw, who is Tyler Durden?

I know, I know, Fight Club. But only cause of a guy at a forum (nick + avy does the trick).

    Paranormal Activity - 9 / 10

Great horror film and built tension amazingly.....didnt rely on jump scares, cgi backwards spiderwalking, or shock gore.......

Texas Chainsaw Massacre : The Beginning sort of watched .

Sure with a title like that I should have been a little more aware going in but seriously who gets a kick out of this crap.

I hung in for the first part - the build up mostly because I have a thing for Doira Baird even though I pretty much knew things weren't going to end well for her. A few murders in no big deal because they were characters made for the offing that I had no invested interest in but as soon as the writers thought it a good idea to skin alive ,chainsaw and cut off the face ( to be used as the mask by Tommy/Leatherface) of the erstwhile hero who's greatest "crime" was being brave and putting his life at risk by defending his brother, I knew it was time to bail.
Glad I did .Read the rest on TheMovieSpoiler - good is slaughtered to the last (wo)man and no redeeming qualities are granted.Nihilistic bullshit.

Good movie on the other hand .Hero survives bad people die .Or at the very least hero's death is given some meaning. Is that so bloody hard to fathom?
