The unedited post teetered on absolute brilliance! It was an examination of gods and mythical heroes resurrected for modern times. The crux was the influence of our societies and our need for these symbols.

I really wish someone was wise enough to save a copy- I unfortunately, was too busy trying to grasp the full depth of the piece and (I am a bit embarrassed to say) looking up some of the complex, yet non-superfluous wordage.

Iron Man 2 was great, well imo. It was funny, and the graphics were quite good! Too bad I didn't wait for a 3d theater release though :| Kinda ended up watching it immediately after it came out on theaters.

I saw Avatar in HD. I'm not gonna say it doesn't look good, but I am gonna say some of the characters were way too 80s cartoon styled, like the Colonel. It has its ups and downs and even without the CGI it would have been an OK movie. But nothing more than that.

    5,9/10
I'm back. The downside is that I'm also old now.

Just watched the British (2007) version of Death at a Funeral so I wouldn't have to watch the new American one.

Fucking hilarious, can't imagine the new one is better, though I really would like to know the opinion of one Peter Dinklage, who stars in both.

I had heard The Blind Side was good, but I held off for quite a while before giving it a try. Much to my astonishment, it IS actually good.

I avoided it because I expected it to be filled with stereotypical characters and a told-a-thousand-times storyline. It was. However, each of these characters was quite likable and the story keeps from going over-the-top. I am not a big fan of Sandra Bollock, and I SERIOUSLY hate Kathy Bates- yet they somehow worked in this film! There is even a freckle-faced, clever kid (usually brings me to gagging) who doesn't ruin it for me.

Maybe I am going soft, or senile, but I give this movie an 8/10.
