    Skyline / 2010

Another Michael Bay film without a budget.

Poor acting, terrible character development, weak plot; the whole movie was about a group of self obsessed couples trying to exit a hotel while some supposed aliens stare at them.

The aliens had better character development.
    And Turk gets killed early.

Yes but since he then didn't have to endure all the following stupidity, wasn't he really the lucky one?

As it turns out, yes, he was the lucky one.
Since the film was obviously designed as part one of a franchise, he probably didn't feel so blessed getting killed off so early in the first installment but hopefully he has better things to do.

Absolutely fantastic. (Un)fortunately this film is looming too large in my mind for a decent review right now. If you're a fan of Firth or Rush, 1930s England or character dramas it is a must-see. I would also recommend it to high-school students studying WW2. 10/10.

What a piece of shit human, suicidal cocksucker, asshole likes that movie?

I get it, but you don't. This was the time where men manned up to go to war against the biggest enemy earth had ever created. Hitler was banging the war drums like crazy and war was bound to happen. It was the eve of the biggest war the world has ever seen.

And you have sympathy for a stuttering King? Fuck you and your kind!

Not to try and rain on your maniacal rantings but it's a movie , sometimes the characters that we cheer for aren't morally perfect or even for that matter human.
As for actual history , hindsight as they say is 20/20

Btw at least the writer(s) of The King's speech , short-sighted or not , had some small measure of talent since they could have the character curse multiple times and not come of as some sloped headed idiot ,as feat that seems to have entirely escaped you.

Colloquialism run amuck, at all (at all)?

I saw the trailer when I went and saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt1. Some how a whole movie revolving around a moving trains doesn't do it for me.
