Being so new, i doubt anybody will take me seriously quite yet, but in all my time gameing i've never found a game with such a kickass playability as the Half-Life series, from Half-Life all the way to Half-Life - Episode 2 (encompases blue shift and those HL1 engine expansions, and Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 and 2)

Best games in the world, Hats off to Valve

I've definitely gotten the most hours outta CS 1.6, but seeing as I'm so turned off by that game now, I'd have to give the nod to the HL series as well. Man, those games were the only single player FPS I had trouble putting down. I normally have to take breaks from FPS , cause they'd just get too intense (doom 3) or my interest would wane (halo series).

Age of Empire: Rise of Rome

Used to play this when I was at the apex of my geek like, I was about 12 or 13 years old, and used to stay up until about 3 or 4 in the morning to play in tournaments (with my school mates as teammates - they were at their homes). I think I can honestly say I was one of the best in the world at most of the variations of the game.

I have since stopped playing games as much, and can only handle 30 mins of Fifa before I have to go outside. I don't think I will ever be one of the best in the 'world' again at anything, and that makes me sad.
