i've downloaded some compressed files and i tried open them with winRAR but they are protected by password can anyone tell me how to break the password

hi there !
i have'nt had this problem, but someone on the net asked the same question and one reply was to use the URL or web address from download site as the password. dunno but give it a bash if still no luck.
