    I have just got x-men 2 on vcd with CDFS file format, what is the best software to use to rip it to my hard drive to share?

    u could tri somthing like vcdgear or just find the dat file on the disc
    copy to ur h/d then rename the extension to mpeg

    A VCD?

    Just change the name of the MPEGAV.DAT file to any name with ".mpg" It is already ripped.
