    Hello ATI.AMD.com

    AMD today announced its acquisition of ATI has been completed for an approximate $5.4 billion USD. The transaction details include a $4.3 billion cash buyout and 58 million shares of AMD common stock in exchange for all common shares of ATI. Shareholders were offered the following options:

    If this means that you can't use AMD CPUs with nVidia GFX cards, I'm sticking to Intel.

    Yeah, first vid card was ATi. Trying to update drivers ended up with a reformat, and since I only had 1 HDD I could not get any backups.
    It was because of that I decided to start using (and later, buying) Driver Cleaner. Never had a problem with nvidia cards nor drivers (rather, no problems that wasnt solved by toning down the OC or updating the drivers) so Im good with nV
