    That cant be right because i have a 4Mbit connection and theoretically you are meant to be getting max 510-520KB/s which i do get.

    As i said earlier.....3.5mbit=3584kbit

    So 3584kbit/8=448KB/s max

    If ya wanna work in KB/s then 1mbit=128KB/s

    3mbit=128*3=384KB/s

    0.5mbit=128/2=64KB/s

    384KB/s+64KB/s=448KB/s
    I understand that theoretically I should not be able to get much over 448kB/s but most of the time I do. This only happends when im using uTorrent as far as im aware of, 'back in the day' when I was using DC and had about the same connection(3.0) then fastest speed i've had was around 370kB/s. I tested my connection now and the results say that i have a 3.75Mbit connection.

    Yeah, I have one of the rare ISP's that doesn't restrict upload(at least for now), I know that most of the others do so

    napros..first of change to utorrent, bitlord is as old as whatever and shareaza is not a real bit torrent program ,as it does not seed in the true sense of the word and it clears your downloads when you close the program so you cant continue seeding when you next start up ..as far as speeds ,if you find a well seeded torrent (30+) you shold get speeds at around 400KB/s+, just make sure you are connectable..
