Phpbb2 Board Conversion Successful

Might someone be able to explain the differences between phpbb2 and the version we use now? I don't need all the details, just give me the "Bulletin Board for Dummies" explanation.

Phpbb is faster...Runs better...And hopefully will have less errors...

The look and functions and stuff of phpbb and ipb aren't all that different, really...
The most noteable difference will be to the mods and admins, those controls are a bit different

Since you know how PhpBB looks like, imagine it with the same areas but just PhpBB style.
