Though many will probably scoff at what I'm about to say, I've never had any issues finding what I need through Demonoid (apps and some music) nor IPtorrents (movies and occasionally apps).
That said, I have seen what.cd's catalogue of tunes and it definitely appears to be one of the premium music sites. I'll work on getting an account with them when I get back home. It's a bit hard to do speedtests and whatnot to get invites when you're working in another part of the world and the PC back home has died! >
