i havent seen the movie. i've read the book.. I was wondering though, does he die at the end of the book..and movie? i thought he did, but i'm reading these summaries and Wiki, and they dont mention it.

with the feeling of walking in sunlight, and an armed guard at his back. The longhoped-for bullet was entering his brain.

even my teacher told us that he was shot in the back of the head by the guard.

I dont think he dies in the the film. even though they suggest that they rehabilitate him so that they can kill him loving big brother.
