If you are looking for new films especially TS you will waste a lot of time on public trackers. There are too many fake files. Usually they are easy to spot by the comments but lots of people keep downloading them.

If you are on a smaller private site there will generally be users that have access to all recent releases and you can put in a request.

It is true about demonoid that there are lots of H&R and that slows it down.

I find Torrent Leech fairly reliable for good selection of new DVDr's with speedy download. I don't belong to many other sites so I wouldn't be able to comment on how it compares.

Demonoid is good for archive purposes, since most other sites operate on a time window basis.
