    It's a big room.

i concur, but the font is damn small. and i like to sit back in my chair and read the newspaper.. if u know what i mean.

what revision, what month and where was it manufactured? banding issues? dead pixels? how do u like this monitor? also, i recently installed microsoft's clear type tuner font enhancement and i like it.

Maybe increase the font size instead? Native resolution will look so much sharper.

Have you tried CS:S at 1920x1200? What are your system specs like?

How much did you pay? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm really tempted by this or another 24" monitor at the moment. I'm just trying to hang on a bit longer and see the price go down.

edit: haven't looked in a while, just saw it for £520 on eBay (new). That's definitely the lowest I've seen yet...

lol, thx. lol, i'm stupid. ok, 1920x1200 rez and i upped the font size within firefox and it's great. i'll have to see what my videos look like now. if terrible it's back to 1680x1050. i couldn't get the font size to increase within ie7 at all. no matter what i did. i'm probably doing something wrong, idk. can someone confirm that ie7 does in fact increase font size. didn't work for me.

yes, i've tried css @ 1920x1200 WS and my system dropped to many frames. i got like 40fps on that so i dropped my rez to 1680x1050 and it plays at 75-100 fps so i have it locked @ 75fps. looks terrific btw! i paid $680 for this. and i have a amd64 3500 w/bfg 6800gt and 2gb of ram. i'll upgrade soon. was kinda waiting on dx10 cards and now the wait is over...

Where from? I'm in UK where that monitor generally costs around £600 ($1,100) and I know of no way of getting one shipped here from the US without paying serious customs charges on it.

Hey mr. nails. Well mine is the "older" version of the monitor, the stand is a little bit different. It a May 2005 built and I've had it for over a year now without any problems. No banding, no dead pixels and no high pitch sound coming out (it was an issue with early version of the monitor, a power supply issue).

Well I love this monitor. Colours are perfect, it is extremely bright (I took the brightness down to 0 cause it felt like I was looking into the sun), and handles well everything from work stuff, to games and movies.
