    I downloaded the new Splinter Cell game but the size is 8.4 million bytes, which is basically 2 DVD discs-worth.

    The nfo instructions just say burn and install.

    Is that right? Do I need to shrink it like a DVD movie? Will DVD Decrypter ask me to insert a 2nd disc? If I burn it onto 2 discs, will it install properly?

    What am I supposed to do here. I've never encountered this before.

    Sounds like it's a Dual layer DVDr ISO.

    DL = 8.5GB

    Though, 8.4 million bytes would be 8.4MB, so I'm going on the assumption that it's 8.4 million Megs.

    Sorry, upon second glance it's 8.4 million KB.

    So what's this mean? I'm screwed or can I use two discs or what?

    I could be wrong but my best guess would be that it would have to be a single dual layer DVDr, as it's only a single ISO.

    8.4 million KB?

    That's 8,400,000,000 bytes or 8.4 GB.

    Use DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn and burn to a Dual Layer 8.5 GB DVD.

    You can extract the contents of the .ISO by using something like IsoBuster.

    If you ain't got any dual layer disks, you could mount and install on your pc with daemon tools.
