instead of doing all this, why not go to the verifieds section of this forum and download the xp corporate file from there? no use in risking a potential system crash trying to change the key.........just a thought

Yes that's easier
But this is for the people that does debugging in C++
Now they know what .reg file they need to edit, just helping beginning crackers.
It isn't reallly recommed that someone that doesn't know anything of computers, don't need to use this method.

Whats the last version of windows that lets you change your Product Key with a few clicks.... i know 98 does and i change my Key every 30 days to renew my shareware.
XP is not easy to change
Does ME or 2000 let you do it?
